It's your responsability
At RUPEAL we do not have fixed working hours. We expect people to be responsible, we expect them to deliver results, and for this reason, we do not control what time they come in or go out. If you want to work at a coffee shop or by the pool, no one will stop you!
Anywhere, at any time
Yammer is our internal social network. There we share everything there is to be known about the company, with regards to internal policies and events. You may always interact with your colleagues as you would on Facebook; share articles, conversations, and “geek” themes.
A more than compulsory break
“31” is a basketball game that we at RUPEAL play on a daily basis. Whenever we take a break or when someone is having a mental block, we challenge them to a “one on one” of 31. We’ve even created an application on Ruby on Rails in order to keep a ranking and hall of fame of our players!
Our internal recruitment process is at the very least, different. If we are looking for someone to manage the team, the entire team gets involved in the recruitment process! We had as many as 15 people attending one interview, which is highly interactive. At the end of the day, it will be your boss, so what you think, counts!
What happens in Vegas...
Every year, during summer, we have our Summer Sessions at RUPEAL. We bring together the entire company and have a summer festival! Over the last couple of years, this has been at "Optimus Alive". This year? We don’t know yet but it will be legendary!!!
Up to the last crumb
Because life is not just work, we have the “nasty” habit of celebrating our victories! Whenever we reach our goals, we order the Best Chocolate Cake in the World, a Biscuit and Coffee Cake, Marta’s Cake or any other delicatessen! As a result: we all get a little bigger! :)
